Himalaya exclusively presents Alus, a new line entirely dedicated to Aleppo soap. The production takes place according to the ancient original recipe, respecting the long processing phases and with a drying of at least 36 months.
The result is a product with an inimitable color and smell, synonymous with the quality and fame in the world of Aleppo soap.
ALEPPO SOAP BODY LINE
Alus is the new line dedicated to Aleppo soap, a natural detergent with millenary origins. It is handcrafted, according to the ancient original recipe, in the city from which it takes its name, through a long process of manufacturing and drying. It is composed of olive oil and bay leaves in a variable percentage and is dried for at least 36 months, hence the characteristic color, an indicator of the quality and originality of the product.

The processing begins every year in November, with the harvest of the olives and the production of the oil that is cooked over low heat. When cooked, laurel oil is added in different percentages. Once solidified, the soap is cut into characteristic blocks which are stamped and stacked to allow them to dry. The characteristic color is given precisely by the natural oxidation of the soap, which preserves its qualities and particular smell, making it a unique product in the world.

Aleppo soap with 20% and that with 40% laurel oil are the basis for the preparation of Alus liquid soaps.

Aleppo soap is 100% biodegradable, suitable for all skin types, hypoallergenic and delicate. It is an excellent natural anti-inflammatory and antiseptic and is particularly suitable for those suffering from acne, psoriasis, dandruff, dermatitis, allergies or intolerances to perfumes. Ideal for shaving and hair removal, it is excellent as a purifying cosmetic mask for the face, especially in the case of oily and acne-prone skin, and can also be used for laundry. Being very delicate it is great for children and the elderly.
