Veda The secret of light

The word Veda means knowledge.
This knowledge was handed down by word of mouth by the great poets and prophets of ancient India, known as Rishi, to their disciples.
Characterized by harmonious and sophisticated rhythms, these Sanskrit poems were heard by the prophets directly from the divinity and handed down from generation to generation to communicate the secret of a happy and knowing life that would lead the individual to freedom in life. They speak of the Vedic hymns, which are given the name of mantras, the very sounds of which have a vibratory power that dissipates the shadows of ignorance.
It was Sri Aurobindo who drew back the veil that had prevented a clear understanding of the Veda, and who restored their illuminating force to India and the rest of the world. Veda, the Secret of the Light, is a range of delicate fragrances that merely pay homage to Aurobindo, a genuine Rishi of modern times.
